Today I heard the old saying '2 wrongs don't make a right', which immediately triggered my subconscious to remind me of how often I heard it growing up. Now I realize, 2 wrongs are only the 'beginning' (happy dance) love the freedom!! Especially when I'm wr-wr-wr- well you know, not right!

Oprah isn't always right...

"Where there is no struggle, there is no strength." Oprah Winfrey

For some reason this quote touched off a thought for me this morning, which I followed (lol) and this is what showed up. Thought I would share it with you.

My perspective is different than Oprah's here: I believe our strength comes from our Source not through our 'struggles'. The word 'struggle' indicates, to most, something unwanted, to be pushed against, that you don't want and if it weren't for that (I prefer) 'contrast' (bad or good, you choose it) we would not grow, move forward. The 'contrast' causes you to ask and it is yours.

Strength, to me, is vigilantly keeping myself focused on joy, actually looking for it, our natural state of being, allowing it to be easy and loving all that is. That's strength, to continually make the choice to be happy without struggle. Be easy, be love. So I would say this..

'There is strength without struggle' and as I say that, I actually feel resistance leave my body. Wow! What a terrific way to begin my day!

Blessed Were We!

'...love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation.' Kabil Gibran ...

This I know...

“A true soul mate is probably the most important person you’ll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake. But to live with a soul mate forever? Nah. Too painful. Soul mates, they come into your life just to reveal another layer of yourself to you, and then leave. A soul mate’s purpose is to shake you up, tear apart your ego a little bit, show you your obstacles and addictions, break your heart open so new light can get in, and make you so desperate and out of control that you have to transform your life.” ~Elizabeth Gilbert

AccordingToWebster: The Whole Secret to Finding and Living Your Purpose By Sadee Whip

There is so much talk about finding your purpose. The general idea is that you will feel truly fulfilled when you find your purpose. Unfortunately, finding your purpose is often obscured by a general misunderstanding of what purpose is.

Without an accurate understanding of what purpose is you can go on a wild goose chase – trying thing after thing after thing trying to find what it is you are “supposed” to do. Let’s get clear on something – Purpose is a package that consists of two parts:

1. what

2. how

AccordingToWebster; Don't Fall in Love by Apollo Pampallis

Is it true that you ‘love your spouse’, and cannot imagine being apart? Is it true that there is a fine line between love and hate? To me, that sounds more like fear, which, as Jerry Jampolsky says, is the opposite of love. The proof of that is, how would you react if you found your spouse happier with another partner? Would you be happy for him/her, and welcome the opportunity for both of you to have a more fulfilling relationship which only happens with mutual fulfillment?

Is it true that ‘falling in love’ is what we need to be fulfilled? How long do ‘falling in love’ relationships work, and why is it that we ‘fall’ instead of ‘rise’ in love? Remember, whenever you fall, sooner or later you will hit the ground, and the longer it takes to fall, the more it hurts.
